More Than a Drawing.
A Place. A Memory.
A Story You Can Hold Onto.

Through graphite, I preserve our relationship with places, memories, and experiences — so they can be remembered long after we've left them.

Each edition is limited. Each original is one of one. Once it's gone, it's gone permanently.

I Draw the Places
That Stay With You.

I'm Andrew Graham — a Colorado-based graphite artist working at the intersection of place and memory. My work has been collected by hundreds of people, sold in luxury hotel collections, and recognized with a Highly Commended distinction in the Homiens Art Prize. I don't just draw landscapes. I draw the feeling of being there.

I've been drawing since I was two years old — self-taught, no formal training, just watching, trying, and absorbing. At eight, a teacher at my primary school in Jamaica stopped mid-class over a diagram I'd copied from a biology textbook and brought it to the principal. That was the first time I understood this wasn't just something fun — it was something rare. By the time I was at Munro College, shading and detail had become my signature: not the flashiest outlines in the room, but the most patient eye for what light and shadow actually do.

Every piece takes weeks. Every line is intentional. Because the places worth remembering deserve to be honored that way.

Discover Relational Realism™
The Philosophy

Art That Remembers What You Feel,
Not Just What You Saw.

Relational Realism™ is exactly what it sounds like: realism, because detail and shading have always been my strongest instinct as an artist — and relational, because every piece is built around a real relationship between a person and a place, not just a well-rendered view. Two things, fused into one name.

I didn't start there. When I first committed to landscapes, I was doing pure realism — technically accurate, well-shaded, and flat. No story behind it. I could render a place precisely and still feel nothing looking at the finished piece. That emptiness is what pushed me toward what the work is now: every composition tied to something specific — a memory, a person, a moment that actually happened there — so the piece means something to at least one person on earth, even if no one else ever knows why.

The mountain you hiked. The village you visited. The snowfall you stood in. Right now, some of that is already going soft at the edges — you're not entirely sure if you're remembering the place, or just remembering a photo of it. My work exists to preserve those moments before that happens.

This work is created slowly, on purpose. There will never be more of it than there needs to be.

Bring Your Story to Life.

A family cabin. A trail where you made a decision.
A mountain where someone said yes.

These aren't just locations. They're chapters. Most people mean to get around to capturing theirs — until the cabin sells, the trail changes, or the moment lives on only as a phone photo nobody opens anymore. Commission a piece and I'll preserve yours in graphite — permanently, beautifully, entirely your own.

11×14 — Starting at $2,000
18×24 — Starting at $4,000
Final price depends on size and detail — you'll get an exact quote once we talk through your story.

Commissions are taken on a limited basis to honor each piece with the time it deserves.

"I acquired a remarkable artifact — a breathtaking hand-drawn representation of Bachelor Gulch that has resonated strongly with my being."

— Lannie · Souvenir Print

"The piece looks perfect. When my dad saw it, he was moved to tears. That reaction said everything."

— Katie · Rest in Peace (Original)

"We stayed at Bachelor Gulch and used to go to mass at the chapel in this drawing — so this piece meant something to us before we even had it. A little while later, we sat down and wrote Andrew a letter to say thank you. His care and generosity touched us deeply and helped lift our hearts."

— Frank & Katy · Chapel in the Pines

Relational Realism

More Than a Print.
A Piece of the Story.

Every piece finds its way into someone's life. Here's where a few of them landed.

Mountain Lodge in Vintage Hives, the original piece

This one started as doodles on a notepad — trees, sketched to stay awake during an 8-hour hotel orientation. A coworker noticed, told me I had real talent, and suggested I draw the hotel itself. I went home that night and started. It became the first piece of what this collection is now.

— Andrew · Mountain Lodge in Vintage Hives

Linda holding her Mountain Lodge in Vintage Hives print

Their 38th stay with a favorite luxury hotel brand — this one at Bachelor Gulch. Met them in the club lounge, and before they left, gifted them a print of the lodge they'd been living inside all week.

— Linda & Dan · Mountain Lodge in Vintage Hives

Mountain Lodge in Vintage Hives, packaged as a wedding gift

A close friend chose this one for newlyweds who'd just married at a luxury mountain resort in Bachelor Gulch — something to send them home with that would outlast the wedding weekend.

— Gifted to newlyweds · Mountain Lodge in Vintage Hives

Jackie with her Chapel in the Pines souvenir print

She turned 70 surrounded by her daughters and closest family. When she was handed a print of the Chapel in the Pines to mark the day, she cried before she said a word.

— Jackie · Chapel in the Pines

Melissa's original Away From Home piece

"I received the art. It is better than I could have ever imagined. Thank you — it has been a pleasure getting to know you."

— Melissa · Away From Home (Original)

Life's First Blue hanging in Brian's home

He'd had his eye on this one for months. Now it hangs in his home across from the very window it was drawn from — the real view and the graphite version, a few feet apart.

— Brian · Life's First Blue

Lannie's Golden Aspen Retreat at Bachelor Gulch print, with her Schoolbwoy Art keychain and story card

"I acquired a remarkable artifact — a breathtaking hand-drawn representation of Bachelor Gulch that has resonated strongly with my being."

— Lannie · Golden Aspen Retreat at Bachelor Gulch

The Hull family holding their Along the Fence and Mountain Lodge in Vintage Hives prints

"You are an amazing talent and a wonderful person." The Hull family took home Along the Fence — and left with Mountain Lodge in Vintage Hives too, a gift for the connection we made along the way.

— The Hull Family · Along the Fence

Andrew with Paul and Tina, holding their Eiffel Tower souvenir print

His work has taken him to France for years — so when he saw his own Eiffel Tower rendered in graphite, it landed somewhere personal. A souvenir print, and a friendship that's grown well past the sale.

— Paul & Tina · Eiffel Tower (Souvenir Print)

The Pompes' framed Chapel in the Pines print, hung in their home

"We finally got the picture framed and hung! We can't thank you enough for your generosity and kindness — we really love this piece, and everyone who enters our home will see it."

— Katy & Frank Pompe · Chapel in the Pines

Stephie holding her Along the Fence print with a friend

"'Along the Fence' has become more than a drawing to me. Around the same time it came into my life, I came across a quote about building your fence on your own property, not someone else's — a reminder to protect your own beliefs and morality, while never forcing them onto others. Looking at the piece now, that's exactly what it says to me. It's a daily reminder of where my boundaries are, and where they end."

— Stephie · Along the Fence
